1. Capture your goals the night before.
Your morning actually starts the night before. Get your clothes ready, tidy up your workplace and set your goals for the next day, before you go to bed. This way you have a lot less to do the next morning. Getting up doesn’t seem like such a huge job anymore when you’ve prepared everything properly.
2. Get up on time – so don’t press the snooze button!
Successful businessmen all over the world swear by getting up super early. So 5 a.m. or even earlier. You’re most productive in the morning, before the rest of the world wakes up, so give yourself this chance to get more done. Sleeping is great, of course, but by pressing that snooze button, you only postpone the inevitable!
3. Don’t check social media in bed.
This is one of the worst habits you can have. A lot of people reach for their phone right after waking up and start scrolling. However, social media can be harmful. You wake up positive and as soon as you see a message that makes you feel inferior, angry or disappointed, you are back to square one. So try to ignore social media in the morning, especially if you’re still in bed.
4. Make your bed.
One of the best tips for your morning routine when it comes to productivity and positive thinking is simply to make your bed. If you’re not feeling well, this may be the only thing you do all day. Either way, you’ve achieved something today. You got up. You’ll be surprised what this little task can do for your institution for the rest of the day.
5. Get dressed.
Just like making your bed, getting dressed will give you a positive attitude for the rest of the day. You don’t have to be tight in a suit, just take off your pyjamas and brush your hair.
6. Drink water.
Although coffee sounds tempting, the best option in the morning is a cool glass of water. You haven’t drunk for hours and your body is crying out for fluid. Fatigue is a symptom of dehydration. So drink a large glass of water, possibly with lemon, and you will immediately feel 100 times more awake.

7. Eat a nutritious breakfast… whatever that means to you…
Some experts believe that you should get a full breakfast in as early as possible, but this turns out not to be necessary at all. As long as you eat a nutritious, balanced breakfast in the morning, it doesn’t really matter what time it is.
8. Meditate.
Meditating after waking up has a number of advantages. It provides relaxation, helps you to concentrate better and gives you a clear, positive attitude for the rest of the day. After your glass of water, take 10 minutes to clear your mind and concentrate on your breathing.
9. Stretch and stretch.
Yoga is the ideal way to start the day. It offers so many health benefits, both mentally and physically. Not everyone has time for an extensive yoga session in the morning, but a few simple stretching exercises can already have a positive effect.
10. Prioritize.
In the morning, you have the most energy and you get the most done. That’s why it’s important to finish the most important tasks of your day first. For example, do you hate calling customers? Then start with that. That way, you won’t have to worry about it for the rest of the day and you’ll have achieved a goal early in the day.
